Scope is in development. Use this checklist to discuss a future evaluation; production access is not yet available.
Prepare an authorized drawing set.
Scope is in development, with the workflow exercised on synthetic drawings. Plan a controlled review with a qualified estimator before relying on its output.
- Use a digitally generated PDF with readable text, within the current 50 MB and 200-page limits.
- Identify the drawing revision and selected trade; keep revisions and trade takeoffs separate.
- Confirm permission to process the drawings. When AI analysis is configured, relevant previews and text are sent to Anthropic Claude.
Trace the draft back to the drawings.
Treat analysis as a draft to inspect. Review quantities, dimensions and specifications at the field level because each value may use a different source.
- Open each proposed item beside the drawing preview and inspect the evidence for its values.
- Check the revision, page and source area, then compare relevant plans, elevations, schedules and details.
- Review multipliers and typical-room references before accepting a final quantity.
Resolve gaps and record decisions.
Missing information and conflicting sources need an estimator's decision. The current workflow does not analyze scanned-only pages or derive unstated dimensions from drawing scale.
- Leave unstated values visibly missing until they can be confirmed; distinguish drawing facts from estimator corrections.
- Inspect conflicting sources, resolve the discrepancy and record the review decision.
- Add omitted items by hand and reject proposed items outside the selected scope.
Approve the worksheet deliberately.
The export should represent the checked scope and the estimator's decisions. Scope does not currently create prices, quotations, fabrication approvals, invoices or ERP transactions.
- Confirm that every item in the proposed export has been reviewed and approved.
- Export the approved snapshot as CSV or XLSX and compare sample rows with the reviewed takeoff.
- Keep the drawing revision and review record with the worksheet so the final scope remains traceable.
